Built for BSA Event Directors
Be prepared. Not buried in spreadsheets.
Camporee Conductor is a complete digital event system — from game design to live scoring to final awards — built specifically for how Scouting skill competitions actually work.
Sound familiar?
Friday night, 15 troops checked in and handed you rosters for 40 patrols. You've got 18 Patrol Games and a dozen Troop Challenges running today. All of it managed across dozens of spreadsheets — one per game, one for rosters, one for the master tally that somehow has to tie them all together.
It's 8 AM — leaders and judges gathering just before morning flags. You're handing out folders: setup instructions, operation guides, reset procedures, themed station stories, scoring rubrics, spreadsheets, and supply lists. One folder per game. Eighteen folders for patrol events. Twelve more for troop challenges. You printed them last night.
3 PM: scoresheets are trickling in from stations that closed an hour ago. You — or a brave volunteer — are squinting at a judge's handwriting, trying to decide if that's a 7 or a 1. Three games still haven't turned in their sheets. Someone is walking the field looking for them.
5 PM: all scores are finally in. Now you're aggregating, calculating winners, and hand-writing game names and patrol names on every ribbon — before the Awards ceremony that was supposed to start at 4:30.
You vow to yourself: "Next year I'll find a better way."
The Solution
Camporee Conductor is two tools that work together — design your event before the weekend, run it on the day. Each piece is purpose-built for how Scouting competitions actually work.
Before the Event
Design your camporee from scratch — or browse a built-in library of patrol events, troop challenges, and exhibition activities and pull in individual games or an entire pre-configured camporee as your starting point. Customize scoring rubrics, roster configuration, and theme colors. When you're done, export a Digital Cartridge: a single file that carries your entire event to the field.
Visual Event DesignerOn the Day
Load your cartridge, plug in the router, and you're live. Judges scan a QR code and score from their phones — no app install. Scores aggregate in real time. One click generates ranked results, printable awards stickers, and an announcer sheet.
Live Event RuntimeThe Workflow
The cartridge workflow is what makes this different. You design everything in advance, export once, and the day-of experience runs itself.
Open Composer, browse the game library, and pull in the events you want — or build your own from scratch. Set scoring rubrics, roster, theme colors. Invite your co-directors to collaborate.
Days or weeks before the event — at home, no pressure
One click exports a Digital Cartridge — a single configuration file containing everything: games, scoring rules, rosters, officials list. Load it into the Collator on your event laptop.
A zip file. That's all it takes.
Judges scan QR codes and score from their phones. Scores flow in live. Watch the leaderboard update in real time. When the last station closes, generate awards and print in minutes.
No paper, no re-entry, no waiting
What It Does
Judges open a URL on their phone, scan a QR code at their station, and start scoring. The app works offline and syncs automatically. Nothing to download, no accounts required for judges.
Scores appear on the leaderboard as they're submitted. Directors and officials see a live view across all stations. No more waiting for judges to walk their sheets to a central table.
When the event closes, print award stickers, an announcer sheet with ranked results, and final scoresheets — all pre-formatted and ready to go. Your ceremony starts on time.
Set custom colors in the Composer. The judge scoring app, the leaderboard, and printed materials all reflect your event's theme automatically. Circus Camporee looks different from Pioneer Days.
Score patrol competitions, troop-level events, and exhibition activities (like slack line or orienteering relays) — all in one system. Common scoring fields like Scout Spirit and Patrol Flag are defined once and applied automatically.
Invite co-directors and station officials from the Composer. Control who can edit vs. view. Officials are embedded in the cartridge so the Collator knows who's authorized on event day — no extra setup required.
Who It's For
You're the one who stays up late designing the scoring system, who fields texts from judges on the day, and who sits at the laptop while everyone else enjoys lunch. Camporee Conductor is built for you — to give you your Saturday back.
Design your event in the Composer, load the cartridge the morning of, and let the system handle the rest. You stay on the field where you belong.
You've seen the same improvised spreadsheets at every camporee in your district. You know which directors have it together and which ones are going to call you at noon because their scoring sheet crashed.
Camporee Conductor is a tool you can share with every event director in your council — a consistent, professional-grade system they don't have to build themselves.
